EVERYBODY SAYS...

2005-2006

"Everybody says the same bullshit in all lands and through all ages" is a study in consonant and dissonant speech, or accord and babble. Four voices speak simultaneously, occasionally happening to pronounce the very same words.
Everybody says... was first performed as part of "On the Air" at White Box Gallery.
Performed by Julie Cummings, Raquel Vogl and myself.

The piece was recorded and presented as a simple 4-speaker installation at Khoj in October 2006.
Performed by Nandini Mukti (Tanvi Nessa) and myself.

NOTE (2008): The speakers from the Khoj installation had to be left in India. I have assembled a new quartet of speakers and would love to present the installation version somewhere in the US! Here's the original script.(Legal-size layout version.)
